Michelin Recognized Jokbal: Manjok Ohyang Jokbal in Jung-gu, Seoul
Experience the award-winning taste of Manjok Ohyang Jokbal(만족오향족발) in Jung-gu(중구), Seoul(서울). Recognized by Michelin and Blue Ribbon for years, this iconic spot is a must-visit for lovers of tender Jokbal(족발) and savory Bossam(보쌈).
Manjok Ohyang Jokbal(만족오향족발), located in Jung-gu(중구), Seoul(서울), is a highly popular restaurant, which is evident from the numerous Michelin Guide and Blue Ribbon Survey stickers at the entrance. It has received these prestigious awards almost every year, proving its reputation as a top-tier gourmet spot.

As a service, a warm bowl of Mandu-guk(만두국) is provided. The savory broth and soft dumplings are perfect for warming up before the main meal.

The basic side dishes are neatly prepared. One of the unique features here is the shredded cabbage served in a special garlic sauce, which pairs exceptionally well with the meat.

The main stars of the table are Jokbal(족발) and Bossam(보쌈). The Jokbal(족발) is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the Bossam(보쌈) is served with fresh cabbage leaves and spicy radish salad for a complete bite.

Such a great meal calls for a few drinks. I enjoyed five bottles of Chamisul(참이슬) and one bottle of Terra(테라)during the meal.
