For days, the thought of tender meat and sweet seasoning wouldn't leave my mind, leading to a search for a true Dwaeji-galbi(돼지갈비) specialist in Gimpo(김포)Buja Galbi(부자갈비) in Jangi-dong(장기동) stood out because it specializes solely in a single menu and provides handmade ribs instead of factory-supplied ones.

Upon entering, the lively atmosphere filled with customers even in hot weather proved its popularity. At the counter, cute tricolor Jinro toads greet the guests, and the menu reveals a surprisingly low price of 2,000 KRW for Soju(소주).

The table was soon filled with a variety of fresh side dishes, including bean sprouts, cucumbers, Japchae(잡채), and acorn jelly. The main Dwaeji-galbi(돼지갈비) was served promptly, looking fresh and well-marinated.

As the meat sizzled on the grill, a complementary Sundubu-jjigae(순두부찌개) was served. The subtle seafood aroma and soft tofu provided a perfect balance to the sweet and savory meat. The meat itself was tender, with a juice that spread delightfully across the palate.

To finish the meal, I ordered Bibim-naengmyeon(비빔냉면). The sauce and noodles were well-balanced, and the accompanying broth had a unique hint of pollack, making it a special treat. Along with three bottles of Soju(소주), it was a deeply satisfying dining experience.

The warm hospitality from the owner made the start of the meal pleasant. However, it was slightly confusing to see other tables receiving help with grilling while we had to do it ourselves. Despite this inconsistency in service, the quality of the food makes it a place worth visiting.
